Private Dog Walks

Home Visits

Picture
Whenever you can’t be there, home visits can ensure your pet is fully taken care of. Whether to check on your pet’s well-being, give your puppy an extra potty break, feed your pets dinner and give them a walk when you’re working late or as an alternative to overnight pet sitting, blanket or unblanket your horses, administer medications, or simply to give your pets some extra company ($30 for 30 minutes)

House Sitting

Picture
Care and security for your home if you don’t have pets or are taking your pets along–includes watering plants, collecting mail and newspapers, taking out trash and recycling, and changing up blinds and lights if desired for better security. ($50 for routine overnight house-sitting approximately 7pm to 9am, or $25 for a house visit.)

Doggy Adventures

Picture
Special long outings to some of the world-class doggy destinations we are blessed with in the Bay Area. We take groups to Point Isabel, Fort Funston, Stinson Beach, and Spring Lake Park in Sonoma County on the rare days when they open their swimming lagoon to dogs. Please contact us for upcoming dates, or if you would like to book your own private Doggy Adventure. (Pricing varies dependent on destination, and length of outing.)

Pet Sitting

Picture
Overnight care for your pets and security for your home when you are away. Price includes feeding, minor medication administration, potty breaks for dogs, litterbox/cage/stall cleaning for other animals, blanketing/unblanketing and turning out horses, minor plant watering, collecting mail and newspapers, taking out trash and recycling, changing up blinds and lights if desired for better security, and of course playtime and cuddles! (Pricing starts at $65 for routine overnight care approximately 6pm to 9am. If you have a puppy, more than 1 pet, or more involved needs, an additional charge may apply, which we will discuss with you in advance.)

Health Visits

Picture
When your pet is ill or injured and needs extra care, such as subcutaneous or IV fluids, dressing and bedding changes, tube-feeding, prescribed home/barn rehabilitation activities, or other special health needs. (Call us to discuss your pet’s situation and obtain customized pricing.)

Vet Care Support

Picture
When you can’t be at the vet hospital yourself, or when you could use some help navigating the vet care system, whether your pet is going for a wellness visit, has a life-threatening illness or injury, or something in-between. Diane’s unique experience working with veterinarians across North America on behalf of Guide Dogs for the Blind and their clients enables her to speak your vet’s language, know what questions to ask and what information your vet needs from you, evaluate pricing, advocate for you and your pet, and guide and support you through the process. After your pet comes home, we ensure you have everything you need to follow the vet’s recommendations–includes reviewing your vet’s assessment and instructions with you, helping you get comfortable with administering any medications/caring for wounds/etc. This service does not require an in-person initial consultation, and there is no extra charge for urgent situations, subject to schedule availability. (Pricing dependent on driving distance and the nature of the vet visit; call us to discuss your needs.)
